Co-Director and Founder of the Omeja Renegades Volleyball Club, Coach Wollmuth has been involved with volleyball for over 20 years. A standout at Mankato West High School, earning 5 varsity letters in volleyball, Lori continued on at the collegiate level at University of Wisconsin - Madison. Lori helped the Badgers to two Big Ten Championships and appearances in the Sweet Sixteen, Elite Eight and National Championship Match. After graduating from UW in 2003, Lori signed with the FIVB as a professional playing for Barcelona Spain, earning 2004 All-Star honors and for Zagreb, Croatia in 2005.
After "retiring" from professional volleyball Coach Wollmuth joined the Minnesota State Coaching Staff first as a Graduate Assistant, earning her Masters in Sport Management. She then took on the responsiblities as the Assistant Coach and is now in her seventh season with the Mavericks.
An accomplished and competitive athlete, Coach Foster brings her strong work ethic, experience and knowlegde to the ORVC. A standout for the University of St. Thomas, Foster twice earned MIACC Conference Player of the Year honors and was named a Division III All American three years in a row. A very rare and distinguished achievement.
Graduating from St. Thomas with a degree in Psychology, Foster continues her education at Minnesota State University as the Graduate Assistant for MSU Volleyball and is pursuing her Masters in Sports Psychology. Having coached club for M1 Volleyball out of the Twin Cities, Foster brings first hand knowledge and expertise on how to train and compete at the highest level.
A graduate of Minnesota State University, Coach Nixon played Middle Blocker as a member of the MSU Men's Club Volleyball Team. He was a two year captain and named to the 2000 NIVC All-Tournament Team. Nixon has coached Varsity volleyball at LeSueur-Henderson High School since 2000. He was named MRC Coach of the Year in 2001 and Section 1AA Coach of hte Year in 2001 and 2003. Under Coach Nixon the LSH Giants have consistetnly reached the sub-section, section finals and State berths.
A premier coach at the High School level, Coach Nixon brings his unique ability to teach, train and develop athletes of all ages. His passion and enjoyment of volleyball and all it has to offer is contagious.
Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Ashley was apart of 4 Nebraska Class A state championships at Bellevue West High School and still hold state setting records for one match, season, and career.
Finishing a four-year playing career as a setter at Truman State University in 2011, Ashley earned a degree in Exercise Science, with a minor in Psychology. As a player, she started all four years helping lead the team to a four-year record of 118-35, 2007 MIAA regular season and tournament Championship, NCAA National Tournament Appearances in 2007-2010, a 2008 NCAA Division II South Central Region Championship, and a 2008 Final Four appearance.
Ashley brings a variety of coaching experience to the ORVC coaching club the last two seasons for Kirksville Area Volleyball Association 16 and 17-year-old teams and summer camps for Creighton University, University Nebraska-Omaha, Truman State University, and S.P.I.K.E Performance Camps.
Currently pursuing a masters degree in Sports and Exercise Psychology at Minnesota State University-Mankato, Ashley also assists the MSU varsity volleyball program as the volunteer graduate assistant.
Bryan is 24 and lives in Eagle Lake. Entering his second year of coaching Omeja Volleyball, he is a substitute teacher in the Mankato district and is pursuing a masters in education and coaching. He is in his sixth season as libero for the MSU Men's Club Volleyball team. He was captain of a nationally ranked cross country team in his senior year of high school and the following year was the club coach for Willmar cross country at nationals who were ranked in the Top 10 nationally.
An Owatonna natvie, Coach Wallace is an experienced and dedicated coach specializing in the training and development of the younger age divisions. A club coach for many years with the Owatonna Spikers, Ellie brings knowledge and experience to the gym. Currenlty purusing a degree in Elementary Education and Athletic Coaching at Minnesota State University, Ellie brings a combination of experience and motivation into the training and practice sessions for improved player development.
